How does SQOUT actually know what a place is like?

We send a trained local to walk the building in person and write up what they see — the photos, the sound, the feel — plus reviews from real residents who've actually lived there. Every claim traces back to a named person.

Are SQOUT scouts real people?

Yes. Locals who applied, got trained, and get paid per visit ($40-60 per dossier). Every visit is geotagged and timestamped. You can see who walked your building.

What about Fair Housing?

We describe places, never the people who live in them. We don't rank or filter by who's in a neighborhood — only by what's there to do, hear, see, smell, walk. See our Fair Housing commitment.

How do you handle reviews from biased residents?

We tenure-check every reviewer (proof of lease or utility bill at that address) before publishing, then delete the proof. We aggregate themes, not individual rants.

Can I trust the data?

Every signal has a source. A walkability score links to Walk Score. A flood-zone note links to FEMA. A scout claim links to the scout who saw it. No black boxes.

What happens after I pay for a scout report?

A scout in your area gets matched and tours the place within 48 hours. You get photos, a video walk, a listing-vs-truth diff, and the honest unknowns.
