SQOUT

Methodology

SQOUT scores confidence by tracking source mix, freshness, verification, and contradiction across the Internet Signal Graph, Scout Verification Layer, and Resident Confirmation Layer.

Provenance pills

Pills summarize source count, source mix, freshness, and minimum confidence. The minimum confidence is deliberate: one weak source should stay visible even when other sources are stronger.

Confidence labels

High confidence means multiple independent sources or recent Scout verification. Medium confidence means one credible source or older multi-source support. Low confidence means inferred, synthesized, thin, or cold-start evidence.

Disputes

Scout or resident feedback can confirm, dispute, or partially confirm a signal. Disputed and stale data stays labeled; it is not silently blended into a single score.
